It's okay

Just received it today, so these are my initial impressions. I started out with service search and found that a lot of NXDN transmissions were not decoded automatically, It would be nice if the mode could be set by service. The programming software is less user friendly than any I have ever used before. I'll have to see if RT Systems offers an alternative. Once frequencies were programmec by band, then there was no issue with NXDN. I may need a magnifier to see some of the features of the display, e.g. scanning only particular banks. An alternate antenna is a must.

ive had scanners for over 40 yrs bought this scanner because of it being digital a little disappointed not easy to program not very loud the volume **** should be the on and off switch instead of the little on/off button and would be better with a separate squelch **** for $250 could have been better and easier to use uniden missed the mark on this one
