This scanner is pre-programmed with service bands for your convenience. It covers the bands used for emergency reporting including S.A.M.E weather alerts, Aviation, Marine, Railroad, and non-digital ambulance, police, and fire emergencies.

* APCO P25 digital decoding is now supported with the free firmware update. Trunking and other digital modes are not supported. Encrypted signals cannot be decoded. To monitor trunked radio systems, please check out Uniden models SDS150, SDS100, SDS200, BCD436HP, BCD536HP, BCD996P2, BCD325P2, or the HomePatrol-2.
