Tune in and stay informed with the HomePatrol-2 simple program scanner from Uniden. Just enter your zip code or city on the easy-to-use touch screen, and the scanner will listen for transmissions in your area. The scanner tunes in to open two-way radio signals and allows you to quickly hear the communications systems used by public safety, aircraft, military, weather spotters, and more.
Clear, context-sensitive help and simple menu options make the 3.5” color touchscreen easy to use.
Using the color touchscreen, just enter your zip code, your local city, or connect an GPS receiver (optional).
Record / Replay
Hit record and capture all the action on the 2GB MicroSD card (included).
Simply turn it on, enter your location, and you will immediately begin hearing communications in your area.
HomePatrol-2 can standby to alert you to NOAA All-Hazards Alert broadcasts. Alerts are automatically recorded.

The overall system being monitored. The small text below the system name indicates which Favorite List is being used (or “Full Database” for the main database).
The name of the department being monitored. This department is part of the system described previously.
The name of the channel being monitored. (Example: Grand Prairie Fire Dispatch). Also shows the service type, frequency or talk group ID and Unit ID (if enabled) for the channel.
