Update on 33.750 GHz Ka-Band False Alerts

What We're Seeing
We are aware of reports of false Ka-band alerts at approximately 33.750 GHz caused by electronic systems in certain newer GM and Chevrolet vehicles.
In affected vehicles, electronic components can generate interference near this frequency that may be interpreted by a radar detector as a Ka-band radar source.
This can result in persistent or recurring 33.750 GHz alerts even when no external radar source is present.
What We're Doing
Our engineering team has identified the issue and is working to add a Ka Notch Filter (Ka Block) designed to help filter this specific source of interference.
The feature is being incorporated into an upcoming firmware update, along with corresponding updates to the R/Tach app for iOS and Android.
Our goal is to ensure the feature performs as intended in real-world driving conditions before release. We will share firmware availability, applicable models, and additional details as soon as the update is ready.
