The Uniden SDS100 True I/Q Scanner is a rugged, weather resistant, digital handheld scanner that features True I/Q, Close Call(TM) RF Capture technology, and a TrunkTracker communications receiver.
It incorporates the HomePatrol database of all known radio systems in the USA and Canada. The True I/Q™ receiver provides improved digital performance even in challenging RF environments. The scanner also meets JIS4/IPX4 standards for water resistance. The SDS100 outperforms any other scanner in both simulcast and weak-signal environments.

After retiring from a career with a major public safety radio supplier, I really had my fill of programming trunking radios. The method of importing a database and limiting it through a geographical radius was a more pleasant and far less involved method of getting up and running.
It was easy to get up and listening to local agencies. Disappointed in battery Life. I will have to learn to work with that weakness
Wished it has a better attena on the scanner curious if you sell upgraded attenas for it
