Uniden makes great scanners

These new trunking scanners are difficult to program, to say the least. Non-trunking frequencies are a breeze to program on this radio. You will want to use a remote programming service that loads the entire county or counties via your internet connection. That is quick and easy to do. This radio has remarkable sensitivity.

Best trunking scanner!

Upgraded my old analog scanner to a trunking one. Once I got it programmed have had no issues. I opted for the preset features through radio reference to make sure I programmed it right.

Worst user friendly scanner to ever exist

I threw mine out in the rainy mudd where it belongs.Unless you want to take a college course to figure this thing out...don't buy it, the user manual is extremely poorly written. Not to mention, if you go a month not using it, you'll have to pull out the manual, and spend 30 minutes trying to figure out how to scan the 3 frequencies saved in quick save because there us no easy way to do that.Get used to hearing a beep 80 thousand times for functions not being performed correctly, no home button to back out of anything.Like I said, it's raining right now and I threw the horrible $400 radio in the mud after having this for 6 months.
