Have escort 360 max. Trying something new

I have been using escort detectors for years. No tickets. Thought I would try something with more technology. The selling point was Free updates and better screen visiability. It more chatty then my escort. I'm trying to learn the filters to weed out the false signals. Im.afraid I might been over filtering or shutting off a band and not getting a radar alert when needed. I have mixed feelings. May need some tech support confidence to insure I'm setting up properly.. I do like the app that Uniden has which is very nice. I can instantly change settings from the app and it quickly takes to the detector.

Industry-Leading Product and Masterful Design

The R8W is intuitive in every way. It "talks to you" with directional indicators. When you get the groove of its communication (which is basically immediately), you see the sources of radar before they see you. It's AMAZING how far up or down the road it picks up the signals. The whole system comes together and informs the driver in an intuitive and EFFECTIVE way. As I said, masterful design. AND, the 2.4 gHZ WIFI has more than enough range to connect to my home router while I'm in the driveway and download updates before I depart.

Down to EVERY detail, this unit was brilliantly designed with cutting edge components. First radar detector I've seen that dwarfs the V1 in EVERY way. Take my word for it, this unit is the best of the best.
