Works as advertised, one thing that is very poor is the shipping notifications. Very surprising that you cannot show TRACKING without a bunch of do this do thats

The cradle is perfect.
I was surprised it didn't come with the cord.
Unfortunate as I had lost both.
I did have another cord that fit so I'm back in business.

It is the original Equipment antenna for the radio and that’s what I wanted to make sure thatI have the performance that it had before. And it does.

Compared to you're competitors; this radar will be in my daily driver . Once tweaked the detection/warnings are way in advance . Filters out great false alarms too...

I have had my R3 for about 5 or 6 years now, and I can say it has saved me enough to pay for itself more times than I can count. Some don't understand that police can have a radar that they trigger themselves or otherwise triggers automatically and does not stay on constantly. For those, no radar detector in the world will ever detect them unless it catches a stray signal from it scanning another vehicle in the distance before reaching it. Mine has detected these types of signals up to 1-2 miles away on hilly 2-lane highways. Some police may not even be running radar, so not every police sighting is going to result in an alert like I have read in some complaints. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the left side of the display where the speed is displayed became unreadable a couple years ago if the screen color is set to anything other than amber. It does not affect the overall operation of the detector, and since it is out of warranty and I don't want to pay for the repair, I just opt to use the amber colored screen. Regardless, this is a great unit and has lasted baking on the dash of my truck through several hot Alabama summers. I have replaced the power cord once, but other than that and the screen, I have had no issues with it. Keep it updated with the newest firmware updates to reduce false alerts, and the R3 will serve you well!

Had to return. purchased the wrong unit for this unit.

I've tweaked and segmented this detector and its amazing...it doesn't miss any in plenty of advanced time . I also have the competitor in another vehicle , but this is definitely my daily driver in my sporty vehicle .

The battery life on this thing sucks and it takes 10 years to charge for as much money as you pay for this thing the battery with even a full charge doesn't last maybe an hour tops

Too complicated to perform basic tasks for this price.
